Does removing their own nappy a baby’s sign of readiness for potty-training?

I read this somewhere. Well, my son is 13 months, and he keeps removing his, but I’m not sure if he’s ready for potty yet…
How’s your experience?
Nina Lee: “He just didn’t like wearing clothes, lol.”

How true… LOL
Rosie: “she draws with whats inside it as well”

Vunderful Idea! I shall teach my son that… and have his squirmish daddy change him.

my daughter did the same thing at 13 to 14 months.I introduced her to the potty & she was trained in week & we have never had bed wetting issues.all kids are different,I don’t think that there’s a set age to begin potty training.if he’s showing all of the signs then go for it,if he’s removing his nappy when he’s soiled that shows that he’s already learned that he does not like the feel of it on his skin,& if he’s waking up dry, a little trick that I did when training my boys was to put cereal like a fruit loop or cheerio in the toilet it gives them something to aim at & makes training a little more fun.
if you do decide to start training stay with it it confuses the child if you go back & forth.from my experience boys train better then girls
Good luck
