Toilet Training Issues

Potty Training issues!?

Hi,
I have a 2 1/2 year old and he refuses to pee in the toilet. He has been pooping in the potty since he was 1 1/2 have no problem but not peeing. Every time i try to train him to pee in the potty he starts crying and gets very upset and refuses to do it. HELP!!

Potty training takes time and lots of patience. Usually positive reinforcement, and a rewards system works best. Never punishing for accidents. All in all, they will pretty much be potty trained when they are ready.
